An independent Tesla-only hire company in Sydney
Rent A Tesla exists because hiring a Tesla in Sydney should not mean scrolling a mixed fleet and hoping the car that arrives is the car you chose. We are a small, independent operator — not Tesla the manufacturer, not a dealership, and not a franchise of a big rental brand. The fleet is deliberately narrow: current-generation 2026 Tesla Model 3 and Model Y, and newer vehicles from those two lines. Nothing older, no petrol cars, no hybrids, no other EV brands. Every booking is handled by phone with the people who prepare the cars, and every handover includes a proper briefing for drivers new to electric vehicles or new to Tesla.

Rent A Tesla is owned and operated in Sydney. The business is phone-led on purpose: one conversation covers the dates, the model, the pickup point, the charging plan and the hire agreement, without a checkout form pretending a calendar can answer real questions.
Pickup is available in Sydney and Auburn, with delivery options across Greater Sydney. We answer from 7am to 7pm AEST, seven days a week. Outside those hours, leave a message or use the callback form and we will ring you back.

These are the body styles we hire. We do not publish fleet counts or colours, because the car you collect is confirmed on the booking call rather than promised from a gallery.
Why the fleet stays Tesla-only
Focus is the whole point. Because every vehicle is a current-generation Model 3 or Model Y, the briefing you receive applies exactly to the car outside: the same phone key, the same central screen, the same Trip Planner and the same Supercharger access. A first-time electric driver gets a handover from someone who drives and charges these cars daily.
That specialisation also protects the booking. There is no ‘or similar’ clause that moves you into a petrol SUV. You choose between the sedan and the SUV-style hatch, both normally available, and the model agreed on the call is the model you collect.

What we do is narrower and more useful: we hire current-generation Teslas in Sydney, explain them properly, and stay reachable by phone for the life of the booking.

Insurance is included under the hire agreement; excess, bond, licence eligibility and conditions are confirmed by phone. We do not publish prices or run an online checkout — the call is where availability and the complete arrangement are confirmed.
