Current after they leave the factory
Over-the-air updates keep the cabin software current. Both cars use the Tesla app and phone key, a large central touchscreen, the Tesla camera suite, the latest Autopilot driver assistance, Superchargers and in-car Trip Planner. The 2026 Model Y also has a rear passenger screen, panoramic glass roof, heated seats and ventilated front seats.
Full Self-Driving (Supervised) is available where equipped. The driver must stay alert and in control. The car is not autonomous.
