Booking and availability
A callback request does not lock a vehicle. A hire is confirmed only after we agree the car, dates, eligibility and collection arrangement.
Vehicle use
Charging, destinations, authorised drivers and return conditions are agreed before collection. Call 1300 356 387 to confirm any detail.
How a booking is formed
Website information and a callback request do not reserve a vehicle. A booking is formed only when the Tesla, dates, driver eligibility, collection or delivery arrangement and applicable conditions are confirmed. Do not make plans on the assumption that a form submission has secured a car.
The fleet consists of current-generation 2026 Model Y and Model 3 vehicles and newer vehicles from those lines. Both models are normally available choices, but the specific vehicle for a booking is confirmed by phone. Fleet counts, colours and drivetrain badges are not published commitments.
Driver, vehicle and insurance responsibilities
A valid full licence is required. All drivers must meet the eligibility conditions recorded in the hire agreement and use the vehicle only as agreed. Insurance is included under that agreement; excess, bond and conditions are confirmed by phone before collection.
Full Self-Driving (Supervised) may be available where equipped. The driver must stay alert and in control. The car is not autonomous. Driver assistance does not transfer responsibility away from the driver or permit use outside road rules and the hire agreement.
Collection, charging and return
Pickup is available in Sydney and Auburn, with delivery options across Greater Sydney. Sydney Airport collection uses an agreed terminal meeting process; Rent A Tesla does not operate a desk inside T1. The driver must follow the confirmed time and location.
The Tesla is presented charged. Charging responsibility, payment handling, destinations and expected return charge are agreed for the booking. Return the car at the time and place stated in the agreement, and use the supplied contact process if a flight, road closure or charging issue affects the arrangement.
